Sorry, my Russian sucks.  It's been 20+ years since I studied Russian. All I remember is " Ну Заяц, Ну, погоди!"  

 

I did a feew skins and posted them in the international forum. Not much, or great, just few 190's and a Romanian BF-109G2.

 

I thought some of you may like them.

 

 

 Just a basic 190 with the standard camo  most 190's left the factory during that time.

FW-190 A4 of Staffelkapitän Horst Hanning  2./JG2, Tiqueville, May 1943.

 

 I got carried away. I noticed it's an A4 only after I did the new eagle head design.  May as well finish it and post it  .

 

the markings in the screenshot have balkenkreuz with the black outline. The uploaded skins have the correct markings.

Just a Romanian Bf-109 Ga4 assembled at Brasov factory. If I remember correctly the only difference between g2 and g4 was the radio, so not far off from what we have in game.

I modified a bit the alpha layer. I think it has less reflection....maybe is just placebo on my part.

And the last, for now.

 

After that poll with IAR-81 and Machi c.202, I was hoping we'll get the IAR-80/81 in game at some point, so I did a few markings, and insignias for the IAR.

 

I got impatient and threw  them all on the FW-190 template.

I played a bit with the alpha layer to get less reflexivity, so I uploaded both versions. You can clearly see in this shot there's less reflection on the wings with the darker alpha:

FW-190 A2. WNr. 20206 flown by Fw. Walter Grunlinger of Stab III./JG 26. This FW-190 was Priller's ride until April 1942, then he passed it over to his wingman.

 

I wanted to do Priller's FW-190 A3 as well, but don't have the time right now. Will have to do it later.

 You are right. I see I also missed  the motling on the tail.   I was in a hurry to finish it, before work and looked at the profile more than the photo.

I tried to update them in the skin downloader tool as well, but it didn't worked as planed.    Instead of updating the skin it made a new one...with the same name. Pn top of that I forgot to select the FW-190 as the type, for the historical one and the tool took it as Bf-109 F4 skin. so forget about that one.

One more JG 2 FW-190.

 

    FW-190 A2, WNr.282, flown by  Fw. Karl Nowak of 9./JG 2. France June 3rd 1942. He shot down two spitfires that day, his 11th and 12th victory. He was shot down and killed, by a spitfire, over the Chanel a week later. 

 

 

I have my doubts about the camo on the left wing. It looks wrong, but It may be just the lighting. I don't have a higher resolution picture, so I'll let it as it is.

Looking around the forum I found the professionally made Kill markings uploaded by viperrm64. He did a ton of historical Luftwaffe kill markings for all fronts.  They look way better than what I did on the last skin, so with his permission   I updated the skin with his markings. The stretching that for some reason kept messing my kill markings is gone. 100% improvement.
