Anyone who thinks, "cheats" don´t exist, must be either very foolish or very ignorant - or just not able to "spot" them and thus just suspicious for the rest of his time.

Even a 15 year old can find on youtube tutorials how to manipulate the memory of every game and change properties of a "plane" i.e..

Simply file-validation routines (such as the ones used in old IL-2 i.e) are therefore USELESS!

 

Personally i believe, that especially our community DESERVES better protection if put in context with other gaming industries, which are much more aware and active against this problem.

We here (flight-simmers) are often very dedicated people and some of us do this hobby for over years as sport with passion and good camaraderie.

This and the fact, that it is a competitive enviroment (matches), makes protection even mandatory. Every silly shooter game has some sort of protection, but we don`t. Why?

 

Anyways...before this thread turns into too much negative talk and egos are clashing into eachother for just childish reasons... it is better to be silent for now ...and let the future speak

Manni.. i am truly not a top dogfighter in Il-2. I am fully aware of that. How could i ever be even without trying to be and without investing that much time in dedicated training?

IL-2 for me is an "interesting" addition to real BFM and i enjoy it very much, even hearing alot of suspicions by others. Just last week i was shown a track with an undenyable "cheat". You should have seen that "UFO", LOL. But those cases are only very very few over all those years - luckily.

 

Besides.. having been Nr1 in Lockon for years... some refer to me as a "Legend" ... being one of the top 3 dogs in Falcon BMS (by scores it would be #1 atm) ..i think i have earned my "wings" and tbh. i am too old (42) to proof ANYTHING to the IL-2 "competitors". Let them have their "run" for fame, that´s totally fine actually.

 

My current dedication is to give YOU guys protection and it is a tuff project expanding over a year now (secured protocols, encyrptions, memory real time protection etc etc).

 

PS: Manni.  I remember you. The guy i banned from Team Combat League. No need to take it personal after all those years, thus no need to "threaten" me with childish "ban hammers". I won´t be causing any problems, don´t worry.

 

@Apollo: I don´t even know you, nor do i remember you, but i have heart about you and have been told not to take you serious.

I have an idea that can solve the YOUR problem:

1. Organize a tournament somewhere in Europe (in the middle so to be an easy place to reach for Russians, Italians ecc ecc), 

2. Pay tickets and 4/5* Hotel for your opponents (if you win money will be returned, if you lose you accommodate someone better than you, an honor act) 

3. You make a Lan and install Bos so you thrust the system to be without those "famous cheats".

4. Fight's On and who is the best will win without those "famous cheats" 

 

Let's see if someone will accept this offer than can solve YOUR problem

I am definitly not the only one. Even in the last "Gladiators Tournament"  there were some serious suspicions from the "Judges" and from a particular well known Squadron and thus a disqualification was requested for an individual for further events. There is more than enough "doubt" floating around, but it is mostly "hush hush psssht" as everyone knows not to speak publically about those issues and be to ridiculed as "crying". I am an execption, because i don´t give "two shits" about what other people say.. i just do something actively against it.

 

Hence, you are "forcing" me to reply in examples... i didn´t want to, but i have to as it seems. So let me give you just few examples (without elaborating in more details as this would be counter-productive and bad for us all.)

 

1) Cheat Track IL2 Sturmovik: http://www.as-private.com/acmi/CheatIL2.rar  - look at the green skinned P-39 N1 with the Nr#1 on the plane and german markins... and amuse yourself

2) Go to Youtube and research about the "Cheat-Engine" program. This will give you an idea how to change for example the "weight" or the "thrust" of a plane IN THE MEMORY of the game after launch.

3) etc..

4) etc..there is more "shit" like that

 

The good part is, that in all the last 12 years, i can count on only 2 hands faul-playing cases (with evidence) in 3 different sims. So the problem is not that "big", but still important.

Furthermore, it is really not about those individual and rare cases, but about giving the community "confidence" and "trust" back, if they organize servers and tournaments.

 

Lynx, this is not about A.S (me). If i bring attention (complain) about or to this problem or not is really not the center-point here. Stop thinking in terms of "who has the biggest online dic##", or "A.S is just crying" ..this is childish. This is a serious hobby and sport for many (so for you i assume) and therefore ALL OF YOU (including YOU) deserve !! a fair play environment, don´t you think so?

 

 

PS: About your recommendations... simple, this Anti-Cheat-Program we are working on (80% atm) will be FREE and all of you can use it as you wish.

Наверное стоит на них равняться, а потом сопоставить свое, и то, что уже сделано другими, и задуматься - а стоит ли это представлять широкой аудитории.

Я тоже тут решил поискать врага... рядом с его филдом (на Синдикате)... Откровенно не наглел, но увидел, что я не один и пристроился..... и в конце уходя в пике с набором и смотрю "увязался чОрт за мной" ....

В общем потом написал какой то буржуй на пиндосском, что видео заснято и что кто-то читерюга ..... я правда не понял кому это он писал.... и принял на свой счёт ......(

 

про ракеты правда забыл.. хотя я ими из 1000 выстрелов дай то бог попаду 0,5 раза )

 

И где на красных крафтах смотреть сколько осталось бомб или ракет?
