Recent HOSAS dual NXT customer. Wanna share my love for the software.

Hi fellas. Sorry for writing in English, as you can imagine I don't even have a Cyrillic keyboard.

 

I've got two Gladiator NXTs about three weeks ago.

 

I absolutely LOVE the software, it is so flexible, clearly made with love by a group of geniuses .... turns out is made by one genius.

 

I made my sticks to have full SHIFT functions, made one of them to act as a mouse when I wanted, custom color the RGB LED etc .... loved to go through the manual and discover what did what.

 

I'm loving the fact it has a boolean section. I use booleans a lot in audio DSP modular software and is truly fun to work with them. Booleans = infinite combo possibilities.

 

I did not expect booleans at all in any gaming controller software, this is something you expect in highly technical programs and I think it says a lot of good things about the man behind this software.

 

Are you guys doing interesting stuff with booleans in your controllers? I would love to hear your cases. So far I know, as in the manual says, you can do a fancy combo to Eject from your cockpit but I'm sure some of you guys found cool ways to use booleans.

 

Questions for Alex_Oz:

 

- I would really love to follow on each step, each new little feature you add. Is there a changelog I could find? For instance, I would like to know what the difference is from v2.055 and v2.058

 

- (Stupid request alarm) Is it possible to make the LEDs to blink faster? Seems real slow (about 10fps) and you can see it trailing (would love about 30fps or more, maybe 60fps?). I would understand if you don't wanna make it faster to save on USB power requirements.

 

 

Finally, I repeat, this software is awesome!
